The Wrango Tools 25ft tape measure is designed for the jobsite. We started with oversized numbers and markings to make everything easier to see and read. We added 16″ O.C. arrow marks every 16 inches for fast and easy marking. The top thumb-press blade lock and bottom finger brake were added for more control when measuring and recoiling the tape. We included an oversized hook with an anti-slip coating, but didn’t make it too big. We wanted a great balance between an oversized hook and having control of the blade when standing-out.
Speaking of stand-out, our tapes have 10′ of true stand-out / 13′ of true reach. Anything more and the blade gets too rounded and unstable. We also designed our tapes to withstand real jobsite drops, not gimmicky drops on packed dirt, lol. We know that tapes don’t get dropped on soft soil, they seem to find the something hard. That is why we have a recessed hook cover. Our hook is covered and protected when dropped because we know once the hook is bent, it’s over. Our anti-shock casing and recessed hook cover survives real jobsite drops. Of course nothing lasts forever… but we’ll continue to try.
